We proudly organising Butterfly walk as a part of Coimbatore Vizha 2019.
Coimbatore Vizha is a Regular Annual Event consists of 150 different variety of events to highlight the Coimbatore cities importance.
Our experts will lead you on the tour to look for these spectacular butterflies. You will learn how to identify common butterfly species found in the area, brush up your identification skills, help on a conservation task, and see a rare species.
Bring your camera and binoculars and your enthusiasm for butterflies!
Training Skills and Objectives
- Gain an understanding of butterfly importance and conservation.
- Learn basic butterfly biology, identification, habitat requirements, butterfly friendly management practices, design and development of habitat enhancements, and where to find additional resources.
- Gain the skills to implement effective habitat management and conservation efforts for butterflies.
- Meet other Butterfly enthusiast within their jurisdictions that are working on butterfly conservation.
